Imagining Futures in the Margins of Urban Trinidad and Tobago.” Literary and visual and anthropology project, University of Helsinki and Bacano Leaf, December 2024-June 2025

  • Place, Power, and Words (December 2024-February 2025): Spearheaded a virtual spoken word workshop and community-based literary anthropology project, culminating in a spoken word showcase and panel discussion at the Angelo Bissessarsingh Heritage House, Belmont, Trinidad and Tobago
  • Comin’ Up Charlotte (November 2024-June 2025): Co-designed a literary and visual anthropology project and co-produced podcast. Developed podcast series featuring urban entrepreneurs (and “hustlers”) discussing futures, livelihoods, work, family life, and the representation of marginalised communities (Producers: Deneka Thomas, Amílcar Sanatan, Darron James)
  • Project Close-Out Event: Co-organised an art exhibition, spoken word showcase, and podcast listening session at ThinkArtWork Studio. This event included a panel discussion highlighting arts-based methodologies and mainstreaming marginalised voices in urban planning and governance
